We voted to change how yardage is scored for RBs and WRs last night. The new system will add yardage bonus' based on combined yardage (rushing and receiving) instead of calculating each individually.

I put together some lists that will show how scoring would have been affected last year were these new rules in place.

A few observations:

• As I suspected, the rule does not have much effect on WRs. The average points scored for the top 24 WRs went from 61.3 to 61.7.
• Average points scored for the top 24 RBs went from 43.5 to 55.7. This feels right to me, and puts RBs closer to WRs in terms of scoring.
